The Girls Robotics team uses and demonstrates the core values of the FIRST LEGO League.
Discovery
We seek new helpful ideas as well as new skills. By doing this, members of the team communicate to analyze mistakes and brainstorm solutions. From those mistakes, we strengthen our knowledge and develop techniques that help us succeed with discovery.
Innovation
We have to use creative ideas and persevere through our problems. Our team demonstrates times of innovation when we run into a problem with our mission. Together, we discuss what happened and find new ways to solve it.
Impact
Through our research and knowledge, our team has been working on our mission according to the problem at hand, space debris. With our research and our solution, we hope to accomplish our mission and create a change in the world.
Inclusion
Inclusion: Our team makes sure to consider each other as individuals and use our differences to grow. We consider everyone's ideas as they help us achieve the designated problem.
Teamwork
As a team, we are substantial and accomplish our goal faster and with efficiency when we work together. Teamwork is very important with robotics because when we make mistakes, we have to work as a team to fix them and collaborate with unique ideas.
Fun
While our team works on our mission, we cherish what we do and have fun in the making! We made new friends and stepped outside our comfort zone as we faced the unknown together. We wanted to keep our club professionally fun.
